This paper reports on reinforcement design and construction in the restored work of brick building. Restoration work was carried out on the building of the former ISE Post Office. During the restoration work, the brick stamp warehouse was restored with seismic reinforcement. In this seismic reinforcement, tensile force was introduced by using PC steel bars in the brick wall for out-of-plane bending. So far, there are few reports on the specific design and construction of these. We report what we found from reinforcement design considering the characteristics of this building and what we paid particular careful about during construction.
