Surveys to super-high-rise condominium residents living in the 5th district of the central Tokyo metropolitan area have revealed the following: 1) they live in the city center because their jobs are in the city center, they want an urban lifestyle, they do not want to lower their property values, and they live in the city center for their children’s education. 2) About 20% of them are forced to live in urban centers because of their jobs. 3) it is necessary for them to respond to disasters, develop appropriate management plans, and form a community of residents, etc.
