In 2018, the Flanders Architecture Archives (Architectuurarchief Vlaanderen) was established in the Flanders Architecture Institute (Vlaams Architectuurinstituut/ VAi) by integrating the Architectural Archives of Province of Antwerp (Architectuurarchief van de Provincie Antwerpen/ APA) into the Center for Flemish Architectural Archive (Centrum Vlaamse Architectuurarchieven/ CVAa) of VAi. Based on visits to and interviews in the archives, this report introduces its broader activities in the wide range of environmental design, promoting various projects involving the public and actors in and out of the field by the merger of the collection of APA and the knowledge center role of CVAa.
