Abstract

In this paper the process of utilization of sea sand and salinity regulation was investigated by literature survey. The limit of sodium chloride of sea sand was stipulated in 1957, and then the limit was become loser and finally the limit of total chloride content of concrete was established in 1986. On the way, survey of reinforced concrete structures, accelerated tests and exposure tests of concrete specimen with re-bars, survey on the regulation of foreign countries, survey of sodium chloride content of sea sand, and development of measuring methods of chloride ion in fresh concrete on site had been conducted.
