Frost heaving damage to retaining walls occurs frequently in cold regions. This paper focuses on small-scale retaining walls and reports on the following three points. 1. Survey results on frost damage and deformation of retaining walls. 2. Points to design and construction simply based on previous research and experiences. 3. Examples of design and construction of repair work and review of results.
