Abstract

The authors will develop a composite floor using a combination of wood materials. The floor members need to have fire resistance as well as structural performance. The fire resistance requirements of the floor should be satisfied by the thickness of the concrete portion as required by law. The allowable bearing capacity by law is satisfied only by the thickness of the concrete portion. The occupant vibration should be satisfied by taking into account the effect of compositing the wood and RC parts. The authors conducted loading tests, and creep tests etc. on the composite floor to understand its performance.
