Abstract

As the demand for timber structures increases, the number of rigid frame with a high degree of spatial freedom is expected to increase. On the other hand, experimental methods for such structures have not yet been developed, and a solution is desired. This study aims to investigate a measurement method that can respond to the three-dimensional behavior of a two-directional timber rigid joint. We focused on the three-dimensional coordinates of loading points and the measurement of deformation characteristics of shear panels, and confirmed their validity by integrating the deformation components based on a mechanical model.
