To investigate the applicability of the internal insulation retrofit to soundproof work, actual measurements (winter) and numerical analysis (summer and winter) were conducted in an actual house where soundproof work and internal insulation retrofit were performed at the same time. As a result, those retrofits were not very effective in reducing the heat shock risk in winter, but improved comfort in the living and surrounding rooms and reduced air conditioning loads. It can be concluded that there is potential for the application of internal insulation retrofit to soundproof work of living rooms.
