Research on seismic damage estimation is underway for the purpose of estimating the repairing cost after earthquakes. To accurately calculate the amount of damage in the spalling area of RC members, it is desirable to evaluate the damage based on the three-dimensional geometry. This study proposes a method to calculate the volume of the spalling area from 3D point cloud data of RC column members reconstructed by SfM. In this method, the spalling area is extracted from the point cloud data based on the positional relationship with the surface of the member, and it is modeled as alpha shape.
