A SURVEY ON PERCEPTIONS OF CURRENT DESIGN CODE PROVISIONS OF STEEL STRUCTURAL BUILDINGS AND THEIR INTERNATIONALIZATION

Abstract

A survey was conducted among practitioners and educators regarding AIJ design standards and recommendations for steel structures and their internationalization. From a total of 640 responses, the frequency of use of current design code provisions, correspondence with Japan’s current building standard laws, and awareness of internationalization were analyzed.
