A REPORT ON THE CONSERVATION ACTIVITES OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE THROUGH THE DOCOMOMO INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Abstract

The conservation activities for modern architecture and environment by Docomomo has been initiated since 1988 in the Netherlands. It has developed internationally through the biennial conference which has discussed on the conservation topics in terms of architectural history, technology, registration, urbanism, education and so on. The number of participants, countries and the occupational category to the conference could indicate the characteristic of the conservation activities.
