Abstract
It is very important for performance based design to control the response displacement of the structures for input earthquakes. The previous reports proposed the response displacement control method of S. D. O. F RC structures by changing member sections. This report verified the applicability of previous response control method to multi-story structures. For the verification models, the stiffness and strength of the modified model could be estimated accurately. For the member section modification coefficient, the average of estimation ratio was 1.0 and the standard deviation was 0.1. It was confirmed the previous response control method was effective tool for the multi-story structure.
