Abstract
This report clarifies the process until constructing Prince Chichibu's lodge built in 1928, construction costs, amount of using wood materials, the original plan and its composition which Max Hinder had designed and the Hokkaido university made drawings, based on the documents and drawings which belong to Hokkaido University. This lodge is evaluated one of the existing works that expresses the style of Max Hinder and is the last work of his skiing lodge trilogy having produced a big influence on the lodge of Hokkaido afterwards, though it has not superior space composition too much.
