抄録
This paper discussed the process of housing reconstruction in the Kailuan Tangshan of China. Tangshan is one of the heavily damaged areas in the Tangshan earthquake. Still, there are many vacant lots where housing construction faces divers obstacles, as the composition of housing type in the neighborhood is in the process of profound change. There is a drastic decrease in multi-family housing units in wood structure for low income people, while there are many multi-family non-wooden housing units for the upper income people which has were newly constructed.
