A COMPUTER SYSTEM TO PRODUCE ZONING PATTERNS OF A MODEL HOUSE IN PRESERVATION DISTRICTS FOR GROUPS OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS : Development of Grid-System using computer Part2(Information Systems Technology)

Abstract

A computer system to produce zoning patterns of a model house in preservation districts for groups of historic buildings in Kanegasaki, Iwate pref. has been developed (Grid-System for zoning). We have been surveyed and researched Jonai-Suwakoji district from 1996, and the results are used in order to compose conditions with which the Grid-System automatically produces the zoning patterns of a model house. An algorithm based on stepwise moving grid has been applied. Some simulated results by using the Grid-System for zoning has been demonstrated.
