Abstract
This investigation dealt with the severe wind velocity induced with tall buildings that recently became a subject of discussion all at once. It is important how deal with the phenomena related this severe air flow, in connection with not only an individual building but the spacific future image on the urban form and social-economical field of vision. The high wind region in this work has been investigated by simulation that based the method depened on agreement of the atmospheric turbulence structure (wind profile index α, turbulence intencity, scale, and shape of power spectrum etc.) in the city. The high wind region founded from experiment were carryed out by useing the many simple models and varing the parameters (buildings height, wide, depth and wind direction) which influence to size of this region, the difinition of this region is u/U⩾1.0 (u=velocity induced with building and U=velocity as not building). As the result, (1) the higher building increase, the larger rate of high wind and its region. (2) It was found that the maximam value of u/U exceed 1.5 at the wind direction about θ=15°. (3) The phenomena of deverse wind caused at the windside of building when the building's wide exceeded the building's height.
