Abstract

Distribution of the dose rate caused by the accidents of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power stations is measured by gamma ray spectrometer with GPS onboard a car. Driving route is selected on the branch roads and forestry roads, and detailed dose rate distribution is obtained around Date, Iitate, Kawamata and Fukushima areas. The dose rate distribution is strongly dependent on the topography. In Iitate and Kawamata region, south-east faced slope has high dose rate. The ridge between Abukuma watershed and Pacific ocean watershed make clear boundary between high and low dose rate distribution.
