Abstract
The purpose of this research is to clarify the production processes of the spatial organization in the naval port-cities in modern Japan. This is discussed with special reference to a spatial differentiation of consumption and pleasure by navy. The spatial differentiation of consumption in the city is to mean a differentiating process of each places for consumption according to demand from which it differentiation/differentiates, or it means geographical constellations composed of specializing various places.
