Abstract
Geography educations of Mexican primary and secondary school were summarized using course of study and text books published by the Ministry of Education, and then their characteristics were found out to compare to those of Japanese education. Geography is one of important, independent and obligated subjects in Mexican education. The first one of characteristics of it is that the purpose focuses on solving social problems, and the second one is that regional geography is excluded from contents of it.
