Abstract
In this research, destroyed shopping area for the residents and the grocery stores' responses in the quake-stricken areas are discussed. This presentation is based on the results of field studies conducted in June and August of 2011 in Yamada Town (Iwate Prefecture), one of the worst-affected areas by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
