Analysis of fog event in Kirigamine-highlands in Nagano Japan

Abstract
 We have set a live camera equipment for analysis of occurrence of fog event in Kirigamine-highlands in Nagano Japan. We count 263 days of fog event per a year. Fog event occurs frequently in summer and rarely on April, January. It occurs frequently in early morning, night, evening, and rarely in daytime.
 We analyze type of fog event due to occur time in a day. Further analysis between types of fog event and synoptic charts, ascent curve has done. Fog event in mountain area has different character from the one in lowland.
