Regional difference of strong wind appearance in the Japanese Islands

Abstract

  Recently, an increase in the wind damage according to the appearance of the strong wind is seen. The region where damage is a little is seen while large damage occurs in the other region. As for the wind, the regional variation is large, and the influence of geographical features in the mountainous district and the valley, etc. is also large. In this study, the tendency to the appearance on remarkable strong wind in the Japanese Islands in recent years are tried to clarify.
