Abstract
Screenscape not only means screened images, but also includes social elements such as technology, marketing, communication and information. This study examined spatial representation of 2D video games from a viewpoint of screenscape. As a result, those videogames were classified into four types of viewpoints: (a) quarter view, (b) top view, (c) front view and (d) side view. This study clarified that viewpoints of 2D video games were properly selected according to characteristics of video games.
