Abstract
In Carpathean Mts. of Romania, the sheep transhumancen has been changed by the change of socialistic regime. Especially sheep transhumance changed very much after EU joining. The sheep number which are taken on the top of Mts. during summer time, decease dramatically. The big number of sheep which has taken to Banat plain stay during a year, after EU joining. Environmental problems like as soil erosion and water pollution in the base villages (1000 m a. s. l.) has been decreased by EU regulation.
