Abstract

There are three kinds of statistical data about cultivated acreage in China. Among them statistical yearbook is the only one which be published by National Bureau of Statistics of China every year. So it can be used to analysis time-series environment changes in a large area. Now, statistical yearbook can be digitalized, databased by GIS and time-series and geographical information analyzed, on the other hand, there are great changes on policy in China after the year 2000. For example agriculture, environment change, policy in Inner Mongolia. The relationship between them will be clarified in the paper.
