Characteristics of visitors and role as local resources of Open Gardens

Abstract

This paper clarifies the characteristics and behavior of visitors of Open Gardens. In this paper, we researched one of the Open Gardens participating in Kodaira Open Gardens. This activity is operated by Kodaira-city, Tokyo. According to result of the questionnaire survey in the Open Garden, most of the visitors are elderly and female. In addition, many visitors have a tendency to aim at visiting only this Open Gardens when they visit Kodaira-city. Now, Open Gardens have to have connecting role between local resources.
