Abstract
The purpose of this study is to restore the discontinued railway site of the former Tono Railway (1912-1926) running through Kani City (former Hiromi village), Gifu Prefecture. The digitization of cadastral maps and the analysis of cadasters were applied to this study.
It became clear from this study that cadasters and surveyed cadastral maps were useful historical data to exactly restore discontinued railway sites.
