Abstract
Geographers should act in front of harsh reality of nuclear disaster in Fukushima. Geography is the discipline that position the diverse elements in the environment and their interrelationship into the framework of time and space. By recognizing characteristics of the region, Geography has a function to repair decoupling among humans and among regions. Based on this function, geographers should act to find agreement between life and radioactive contamination.
