Abstract

This case study to make clear on the progress of retiree’s settling down and aging at resort villas in Shizuoka Prefecture, Tokyo Exurb area. In this Study have been chosen the Minami-Hakone Dialand villas where have been developed highland area near the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park in 1970. This villas are changing to the senior community because villas owners have been gradually settled. The Inhabitants who are almost all retired upper-middle active adults. About 60 percent inhabitants of them regards their present housing as their final abode. But now various problems are caused by the progress of aging of inhabitants.
