Abstract

Geography is a subject that has both scientific and social elements. In science, students are required to follow the process of scientific inquiry through observation and experimentation in order to clarify natural things and phenomena. Geography does not necessarily emphasize the same process of observation and experimentation to identify regional characteristics as science does. Observation and experimentation in geography means observing landscapes in fieldwork and studying their distribution on maps. To conduct these learning activities, the use of ICT is effective. Therefore, I'd like to present my teaching practice utilizing ICT through the study of "What the reagion should be".
