Research trends in geography education utilizing ICT and Regional Geography Education.

Abstract

In this presentation, I will first organize previous research on geographic education practices that utilize ICT, including practices that utilize geographic information systems (GIS), and explore geographic education that corresponds to the GIGA school concept, especially geographic learning. Next, I will give several examples of geography education practice by distance lessons at school and examine the difference between distance lessons and face-to-face lessons in geography lesson practice.
