N,N′-Bis(4-trifluromethylbenzyliden)ethylenediamine is a versatile bidentate ligand that forms complexes with a large number of transition metal ions. In this research a [CuL(PPh₃)Cl] complex have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray. The solid-state structure consists of a distorted tetrahedron geometry around the copper.
