Crystal Structure of cis-ansa-2,4-Dichloro-2,4-[2,2′-methylenebis(4-nitrophenoxy)]-6,6-dipyrrolidinocyclo-2λ⁵,4λ⁵,6λ⁵-triphosphazatriene

The title compound, C₂₁H₂₄Cl₂N₇O₆P₃, consists of a non-planar trimeric phosphazene ring and a bulky 2,2′-methylenebis(4-nitrophenoxy) side group, two cis-Cl atoms and two geminal pyrrolidine rings. In the 2,2′-methylenebis(4-nitrophenoxy) side group, the phenyl rings are almost perpendicular to each other. Two ansa-P atoms are expected to be stereogenics (meso). It belongs to the space group P bca with cell parameters a = 11.467(5), b = 28.542(7), c = 16.553(2)Å.
