In the title compound, C₁₂H₁₁F₃N₂O₂, the diazepin ring adopts a skewed boat conformation. The methyl group and the trifluoroacetyl group are trans to each other. The molecule is stabilized by C-H…O intermolecular hydrogen bonds in a two-dimensional network.
