The polymer particles were prepared by the precipitation polymerization in supercritical CO2 (scCO2). The polymer particle including the nano-size TiO2 was successfully obtained. The effect of experimental conditions such as monomer concentration, CO2 pressure and kinds of monomers on the particle size was investigated. The particle size decreased as the compatibility between the polymer and scCO2 increased. In addition, the dispersion polymerization was carried out by using Krytox as a stabilizer. The addition of the stabilizer was very effective to obtain the mono-dispersed discrete particles.
