Abstract
We have developed the agricultural simulation model applying Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) and demonstrated the possibility of the model for prediction of the structural changes in agriculture for organizing regional agriculture systems at the Y community, Kanzaki town, Hyogo prefecture.
In this research, we carried out a sensitivity analysis on some crucial parameters such as rate of decrease in rice price, machine operation fees and land rent, labor efficiency of machine operations and the level of cooperativeness about land lease. As the results of this analysis, it became clear that the amelioration of cooperativeness about land lease would bring distinct effects to the future changes in agricultural structure and farmland use.
