Abstract
The objective of this paper is to discuss regional transportation service reconstruction and methodologies for that as a solution for the issue of expanding areas without public transportation services in rural areas. Transportation services that meet rural need could be reorganized by focusing a range of livelihood. In this paper, on the basis of the range of rural livelihood, regional transportation services are classified to three categories (community transportation, inner municipality transportation, and inter-municipality transportation). Further, as measures to secure regional transportation services, integration of transportations, DRT (demand responsive transport), and community pick-up service are proposed.
