Study on the Nonprofit Organizations' Finance and Human Resources Matters from the Point of View of Sustainability

A Case of an Organization on Conserving Village Forests at “Yamashirordquo; Region, Kyoto Prefecture

Abstract

This paper proposed the conditions to provide Nonprofit Organizations (NPO) sustainable activities from the point of view of financial and human resources. The analysis of the settlement of accounts and the questionnaire to the members revealed the followings. The NPO depended on a debt and they paid back from personal donation. The NPO's events based on the subsidies from the administration brought the financial matters. The questionnaire clarified that many members complained about the leader's policy and officers felt frustration from the activities. Moreover, old officers were worried about the lack of their successors.
