Abstract
A rurban area tackles with the critical population decline and shortage of successors of regional industries by revitalization of community development made with urban cities. Nursery is an important regional industry that preserves rich urban green at many stages growing the green. This paper targets Fujisawa city and explores 1.the characteristics of the nursery from its history, 2.the reasons why the nursery needs the collaboration with community development, and 3.the new challenge and the problems occurred from the new collaboration. The communities need to play some roles, like advertisement or sales force, replenishing the problems of the present nursery.
