Abstract
The still-water side as regional environmental resource has various functions as irrigation water, habitat of living thing, and so on. Although most of still-water sides in rural area have been managed by human as irrigation reservoir, these areas have continued depopulation and aging. In this study, all still-water sides were extracted under different scale maps in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. In addition, we grasped management of still-water sides by questionnaire survey and considered the actual situation. In conclusion, sustainable management of still-water side including irrigation reservoir which have various functions, is required for official support.
