This study aims to find a synergistic effect between the promotion of settlement in rural areas and community-based projects for agricultural diversification through qualitative research, such as participant observation and interviews. The findings revealed three major effects: 1) providing the opportunity for new residents to talk with those native and recently moved to the area who are all engaged in a community-based project; 2) showing the ease of starting a new business with new talent; and 3) proving the financial stability of agricultural diversification for those who wish to move into agriculture.
