抄録
The purpose of this study is to develop the analysis method of landscape change by analyzing the structural changes of the elements of landscape in rural area, for example, buildings, farmland and so on. A case study was carried out at Tyuzu-machi in Shiga Prefecture and could grasp the idea of how to analyze the actual conditons of landscape change.
The conclusions are as follows:
a) It is clear that there is a close relationship between the change of landscape and social conditions, mainly in agriculture, regional resources management and behavior of lifestyle since 1960.
b) Based on these results, the relation chart to estimate easily the change of structural elements of the landscape was developed.
