The Consciousness of the Urban and Local Inhabitants at Interaction between Urban and Rural Areas:

A Case of the Rice Terraces Ownership System in Asuka Village

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the consciousness in rural area and agriculture of urban inhabitants, interaction between urban and rural area of urban and local inhabitants. Also this study aims to examine the future tasks of interaction. Half of urban inhabitants are concern with agriculture and rural area, and many urban inhabitants have the consciousness that rural areas are the places for leisure and relax on weekends. The local inhabitants have high consciousness to receive the urban inhabitants, to interact each other by participating in activities.
