Present Situation of Partnership of Basin Environment Management by Non-profit Organizations

From Questionnaire Surveys for NPOs

Abstract

We clarified the present situation of partnership between NPOs and other patners by conducting a questionnaire survey for NPOs that were engaged in basin environment management. Results are as follows. 1. Many organizations that carry out activities in the large area have partnership with private enterprises, national/prefectural government or universities. 2. A strong relationship has been found between vitality of partnership and budget scale 3. Many organizations that establish good relationship with residents' association in the areas of their activity have coordinators such as municipalities or schools.
