We collected the examples which considered considering field lot old out of the example of paddy field maintenance where the paddy field scene peculiar to an area was considered. And the method of enabling preservation of a paddy field scene by arranging the circumstances where such maintenance was performed, and a technique were clarified. The scenes made applicable to preservation are terraced paddy field, land adjustment, and an estate. The maintenance method is conventionally classified into type maintenance and preserved type maintenance.
