Abstract
[Research Note] This report was conducted prior to the teaching material development in class practice of art school education it is my research field. It is an area study aimed at telling children the “pleasure of manufacturing” in the context of school education and social education. The area covered by this research is Gifu prefecture where the author was born and raised. It was divided into two districts, Hida region and Mino region, and its characteristics were expressed in terms of “Hizan-nousui” with familiarity. Gifu's industry is supported by this climate, and even in school education it has a history of dealing with it as a theme. I would like to continue to incorporate teaching material development and lesson topics as subject matter and to understand the goodness of the region. I would like to keep in mind the development of teaching materials and guidance plan and practice to expand the range of formation of “the power of living” of the people living there, with the region and school education united.
