Clubiona coreana Paik 1990 is newly recorded from Japan, based on a male specimen collected from Tsushima Island, located between the Korean Peninsula and Kyushu. The male of this species closely resembles C. japonica L. Koch 1878 and C. vigil Karsch 1879 in coloration and markings but can be easily distinguished by differences in the morphology of the male palp, particularly in the embolus, terminal apophysis, and median apophysis.
