Abstract

Two novel taxane diterpenoids were isolated from the needles of Japanese yew, Taxus cuspidata, and their structures were determined to be 1β-hydroxy-7β-acetoxytaxinine (1) and 1β,7β-dihydroxytaxinine (2) on the basis of spectral analyses including 2D-NMR studies.
