Isolation and Antimicrobial Activities of Ezomycins B₁, B₂, C₁, C₂, D₁ and D₂

Abstract

From the antifungal ezomycin complex produced by a strain of Streptomyces were isolated six new components named ezomycins B₁, B₂, C₁, C₂, D₁ and D₂. They are novel pseudouridine-type C-C nucleoside antibiotics, of which B₁ is the most active.
