Abstract
3 Z, 6 Z-Dienoic acids (C8-C12 and C18) were for the first time synthesized by coupling 2-acetylenic bromides and 2-(3'-butynyloxy)-tetrahydropyrane followed by stereoselective hydrogenation and oxidation.
